Anglia Cathodic Protection Services

Design, Installation & Maintenance CP systems

Celebrating 25 years, Anglia Cathodic Protection Services Ltd (ACAPS) has developed into a medium sized company specialising in the field of corrosion control and more specifically cathodic protection.

ACAPS was incorporated in 1997 by its Managing Director and Chief Engineer Robin Bailey FICorr. Initially, ACAPS started as a small family-run business offering maintenance and inspection/survey works to National Grid Gas on both local and national pipeline networks. However, since its inception the company has grown significantly, both in terms of its staff and indeed the services offered, widening its client base serving predominantly the UK gas and oil sectors.

Over the years and whilst maintaining its core focus and competency of corrosion integrity surveying and inspection works, ACAPS could see its clients were looking for solutions in both turn-key and new projects as well as remediation and upgrade of existing works.

From the standard ‘pipe to soil’ survey routines to the more involved Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) and Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG); Pipeline Current Mapping (PCM) and Current Drainage (CD) surveys. Our team of surveyors have full capability and head office support.

ACAPS holds in stock a significant range of Cathodic Protection associated materials enabling them to offer rapid response and supply for the more urgent problems. Further recent developments include Ground Penetrating Radar, offering nonintrusive surveys of below ground utilities and Drone surveys.

The products in the link below show just some of the solutions provided by Anglia Cathodic Protection Services, but there are many more engineered solutions you can view on their website.
