Casing End Seals

Pipe Casing Spacers & End Seals

When pipelines are required to be laid under existing roads, railways and rivers, they will usually be pushed through a pre-installed pipe ‘casing sleeve’ which would generally be of metallic or concrete material. In order to ensure smooth and easy insertion of the carrier pipes, casing spacers are required. These are fixed around the circumference of the carrier pipe by a bolted or boltless system. Casing spacers have varying skid/leg heights to locate the carrier pipe within the invert of the casing sleeve or to centralise as close as possible.

As well as allowing easy inserting of the carrier pipe into the sleeve, 4 Pipes GmbH casing spacers also offer protection to the coating or wrapping of the carrier pipe ensuring the corrosion protection defense is not breached.

Pipes exiting carrier pipes, wall sleeves or cored holes can be sealed utilizing the 4 Pipes GmbH casing end seals. These are produced to suit any configuration of pipe, or multiple pipes, passing through casings and sleeves. Supplied in different materials, these casing end seals can also be supplied as a water tight seal for pipes that have radial and axial movements.
